My name is Sam Connour. I hail from North Dakota but now find myself in the Dutch-wonderland of Holland, Michigan, after 10 great years in the heart of Chicago.

I have two amazing teens who regularly use words and phrases I can no longer decipher at the dinner table. My husband is the better cook, better at adulting in general, and our favorite encyclopedia of 60s and 70s rock and dad jokes. We are pits-deep in the throes of a midcentury ranch renovation and have accidentally adopted a neighborhood cat who stares us down from the back patio window, demanding all our love. I also write and perform my own music as Lo Sy Lo, moonlight as a church musician on the weekend, and am a humble member of DPCD and Bellwether Arts.
